If you really want to get away from it all, the hidden gem really is the place to be. It feels like you’re far from everything, but you’re still conveniently close to so many amazing places. Dillard, Georgia and Franklin, NC are both only 15 minutes away (if that). In Dillard, you’ll find amazing food at Julep Farms and further into Highlands, NC you’ll find Highlands Aerial Park where you can zip-line. Right down the road from the hidden gem you’ll find gem mining and kayaking at Primitive Outback Kayaking and Gem Mining in Otto, NC. There’s so much to do and see here!
