We are just a couple weeks away from June 6th - "a day that will live in infamy". At Windy Hollow Biscuit House, it is a day to celebrate our veterans as we host our 5th annual FREE VETERAN'S BREAKFAST BUFFET*!

So, veterans, please join us on this special day for a free buffet! Drink, tax and tip are not included!

D-Day minus 20 or so hours, my father and his twin brother, along with the "boys" of the 297th hit the beaches during the storm. One of the boats got lost and ended up at Omaha Beach and the others landed at Utah. The Omaha boys called to see where they were supposed to go and were told to stay and help clean up the beach until they found where the rest of the unit deployed. They met up with Dad and the others in 24-30 hours later.

D-Day was a huge part of my father's story so we celebrate in honor of Hal and Tom Miller and the "Boys" of the 297th Combat Engineers by offering all military veterans a free buffet. Some sponsors have helped to pay for drinks so that your entire meal is paid.
