Thanks to dedicated efforts by Louise and her committee, Owensville is now the home of the world’s largest horseshoe (taller than the one in Dubai). It is made from over 2000 horseshoes that are welded together. The city of Owensville was named as the results of a horseshoe match between Mr. Owens and Mr. Luster. Be sure and visit the world’s largest horseshoe in Owensville, Missouri next to city hall and the Rock Island trail.

Earth's Classroom is ECSTATIC to have the support of the St. Louis area ALPINE SHOP and 4 HANDS BREWING CO, for they are hosting a benefit "AL-PINT NIGHT" for Earth's Classroom on Wednesday, August 27th from 6-8pm at their Kirkwood, MO location. There is also a unique RAFFLE going on!

HERE'S HOW THE AL-PINT NIGHT WORKS: For those 21 and over, when you join us for an Al-Pint Night, $10 gets you an Alpine Shop logo pint glass and the local non-profit of the night will fill it not once, but twice(!) with beer from 4 Hands in St. Louis. You can also expect good tunes to listen to and a "DINNER WITH THE FOUNDERS" raffle to take part in to help the non-profit even further. We will also have non-alcoholic options available for anyone who is interested.

HERE'S HOW THE RAFFLE WORKS: Drawing for the "DINNER WITH THE FOUNDERS" Raffle will be at 7:45pm, during the Al-Pint Night.
WINNER RECEIVES:
--a multi-course, homemade meal created and prepared by EC's founders at their private residence which resides in the beautiful open woodlands on the upper Bourbeuse River: south of Rosebud, MO
--winner can bring up to three guests, totaling four.
--in their earth-contact, passive, and active solar home they built with their own hands, let them treat you to a tasty, delightful meal suited to your liking. Great conversation will fill the evening.
--a date by all parties will be picked within a 6-month window from the drawing.
