🌷Meet Susan.
Susan paints not only with oil, but with precision. Her attention to detail comes in handy as her focus consistently varies between the intricacies of nature, including portraits of people and pets, landscapes, and flowers.
"I'm a perfectionist," Susan said. "I want it right. I want the details to be as close as I can get them."
Her love of oil painting surfaced when evening classes at a little frame shop finally gave her the chance she had wanted since high school art.
"I just fell in love with [painting]," Susan said. Next to painting, she always knew teaching was her calling, too. After 12 years teaching elementary school, she opened her home studio in the early 1990s. She’s been sharing her gift ever since. She’s given art lessons to retirees, children, and even inspired her own “graduates” to start their own paint and sip classes.
