Oh the Places We Will Go Travel Agency

Oh the Places We Will Go Travel Agency ✨ Disney & Universal Travel Planner | Budget-Friendly & Stress-Free Trips ✨ DM to Plan! Hello there! My name is Alex Dunn. I have always been the over planner.

I am a 25 year old stay at home mom with a 2 year old little girl. I have been married to my wonderful husband, Destin, for 4 years now. We love traveling the world, I mean but who doesn't? I love planning vacations. I love finding the deals. I love finding the hole in the wall, off the wall, and out of the box type of attractions and restaurants because who wants to eat at Applebee's everywhere y

ou go? I am more than qualified in Disney, well I mean if 8 trips can make it possible to say that! I have so many tips and tricks to share! Who doesn't love the Castle, Toy Story, and all the princesses. I also LOVE Harry Potter. Universal Studios is literally the closest to "Hogwarts is my home" as I'll ever get. So I love to go and at least pretend that Harry, Ron, and Hermione are my best friends and we are in class everyday because let's all be honest, if Hogwarts sent me a letter today, I'd gladly sign up for 7 more years of school.

Disney World has a pretty great perk happening May 26 through September 8 👀💦

On your CHECK-IN day, you get free access to one Disney water park — either Typhoon Lagoon OR Blizzard Beach.

And this is important… it is NOT both. It’s one or the other, and it is NOT a park hopper situation. So you’ll need to choose which water park you want to enjoy that first day.

Both are amazing, but very different vibes:
💙 Typhoon Lagoon = tropical, wave pool, laid-back island feel
❄️ Blizzard Beach = snowy, ski-resort theme with big slides and thrills

If you’re hoping to experience both water parks during your trip, you’ve got a couple options:

✨ You can purchase an additional water park ticket for the second one
✨ OR do a split stay at two Disney resorts, which would actually give you TWO separate check-in days… meaning TWO free water park days AND a chance to experience two different resorts during your vacation

It’s one of those small planning details that can make a big difference in how you experience your trip 🤍

90 days until the fog returns 👀

Halloween Horror Nights is Universal’s biggest event of the year, and it’s definitely NOT your typical theme park experience.

Think haunted houses based on horror movies and original stories, scare zones filled with creatures lurking in the fog, live entertainment, spooky food, and an atmosphere that completely transforms the park after dark.

The fog rolls in, the chainsaws start up, and suddenly Universal feels like a completely different place 👀

This event is designed for horror fans and thrill seekers, so expect intense scares, incredible set design, and some of the most immersive haunted houses you’ll ever experience.

If Halloween is your season, this is one of those events that belongs on your bucket list 🎃🖤

The popcorn bucket is actually worth it 👀🍿

Disney has everything from simple popcorn buckets starting around $13 to the really fun character-themed ones everyone loves collecting.

And the best part? Refills in the parks are only about $2.25, so if your family snacks on popcorn throughout the day, it can honestly save you a decent amount compared to constantly buying snacks.

Plus it doubles as a souvenir you’ll actually use later. We still use ours at home for movie nights 😂🤍

This is why monorail resorts cost more 👀🚝✨

The convenience is honestly a HUGE part of it.

Being able to hop on the monorail straight to Magic Kingdom — and in some cases EPCOT too — makes Disney trips feel so much easier, especially for families with little kids.

No folding strollers onto buses, no long transportation waits at the end of the night, and it’s really nice being able to get back to your resort quickly for naps, breaks, or bedtime after fireworks.

The monorail resorts also tend to be closer to Magic Kingdom, which saves a lot of time throughout your trip.

And honestly? There’s just something really magical about seeing the monorail go through the resorts and riding it around Disney. It’s one of those classic Disney experiences people love 🤍

Matching memories, ocean views, and Disney magic with my girl 👀🚢✨

These are the moments I dreamed about when I was younger… and now I get to live them with her 🤍

Disney Cruises will forever have a special place in my heart for the memories they give families like ours ✨

Stella Nova at Universal Orlando is one of Universal’s newer hotels, and honestly it’s SUCH a good option if you want a more modern feel without paying premier resort prices 👀✨

The whole hotel has this sleek space-inspired theme, but it still feels really clean, calm, and family friendly instead of overly themed.

One of the biggest perks is the location for Epic Universe. It’s designed to be super convenient for guests wanting easier access to the new park, which is a huge deal with how popular Epic is expected to be.

You still get Early Park Admission benefits staying there, and it’s usually a great option for families wanting to stay on Universal property while keeping the budget more manageable.

It’s one of those resorts that feels upgraded and fresh without jumping into luxury pricing 🤍

Pop Century is one of the BEST value resorts at Disney World 👀✨

It’s budget friendly, super fun, and honestly one of my top picks for families who want to save money without giving up convenience.

The biggest reason people love it? The Skyliner 🚠

Being able to hop on the Skyliner to EPCOT and Hollywood Studios instead of relying only on buses is SUCH a game changer. It usually makes transportation feel faster, easier, and way less stressful.

The resort itself is really colorful and nostalgic with giant icons from different decades, and the rooms have the updated Murphy bed setup which helps the space feel a lot bigger during the day.

It’s one of those resorts where you get a lot of value for the price, especially if you plan on spending most of your time in the parks 🤍

There’s a LOT opening today across Walt Disney World 👀✨

Here’s everything broken down by park so it’s easier to follow:

🎬 Hollywood Studios
✨ Rock ’n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets — the coaster got a new Muppets theme update
✨ Disney Jr. Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Live! — new live entertainment for younger kiddos
✨ Reimagined Animation Courtyard — refreshed area with updated experiences and entertainment

🌐 EPCOT
✨ Soarin’ Across America is back
✨ GoofyCore — new interactive/play-focused experience added to the park

🏰 Magic Kingdom
✨ Jessie’s Roundup at the Diamond Horseshoe — new Toy Story-themed entertainment/dining experience

🦁 Animal Kingdom
✨ Bluey’s Wild World at Conservation Station — new Bluey-themed experience for families and kids

Definitely one of those days where Disney fans are going to have LOTS to explore 🤍

Character meet-and-greets aren’t just at Disney 👀✨

Universal honestly has some REALLY fun character interactions too. My daughter meeting Gabby was such a sweet moment 🥹🤍

Depending on the park and day, you can meet characters like:
✨ Gabby from Gabby’s Dollhouse
✨ The Minions
✨ SpongeBob + friends
✨ Shrek, Fiona, and Donkey
✨ Scooby-Doo and the Mystery Gang
✨ Transformers
✨ Jurassic Park raptors
✨ Marvel superheroes at Islands of Adventure
✨ Hogwarts students + Wizarding World interactions
✨ Mario, Luigi, Peach, and more over at Epic Universe

A lot of people don’t realize Universal has so many character experiences now, especially for younger kids.

Definitely worth prioritizing if your kiddos love meeting characters without only focusing on Disney 🤍

Meeting Lightning McQueen in Cars Land at Disney California Adventure is one of those moments that feels way more magical than people expect 👀🚗✨

Instead of a traditional meet-and-greet, Lightning McQueen actually rolls out and interacts like he’s part of the land, so it feels super immersive and fun for kids.

It’s located right in Cars Land, usually near the Cozy Cone Motel area, and the atmosphere around it is SO good — especially with all the themed music, neon, and characters from Radiator Springs.

I always tell families this is a great stop if your kiddos love Cars because it’s low effort, super engaging, and usually a much shorter wait compared to ride lines.

And honestly… seeing kids’ faces light up when he drives up is one of those Disney moments that just hits differently 🤍
