Capturing light with glass, metal and plastic; then freezing it in time is pretty incredible: if you think about it.
A split second moment: perfectly preserved into pixels. Light that will never radiate the same way again: is now infinite. The sandstone no longer looks the same; the passage of time and flash floods have changed it. None of this moment can be replicated. And yet… I can share this moment with you, all these years later.
This image is where light and sand came together in Wind Castle Canyon. A perfect balance of glow, shadow and stone.
