We here at GCC are excited to announce the reopening of the Carl Hayden Visitor Center!

CHVC will open its doors again on March 3rd, 2022 and will be open Thursday through Monday 9am - 4pm MST.

“We are excited to reopen the visitor center doors to the public and to offer educational opportunities through interactive displays about the history of the dam, hydropower, and Lake Powell,” said Acting Glen Canyon Dam Field Manager Gus Levy. We are excited too!

At this time, guided tours of the dam and the theatre will remain closed.
