Lazy summer days! Motter made the most delicious breakfast sammie on fresh made croissants, fly fishermen are out, ducks sunbathing on rocks, puppy snuggles, and the cottonwoods are snowing in the sunlight!!

You don't want to miss winterfest in Pagosa Springs Jan 21-23rd. This is an activity-packed weekend for the whole family here in Pagosa! The Hot Air Balloon Mass Ascensions, Sled Races, Cross Country Ski Clinic, Fat Bike Race, BB Gun Biathlon, the ever popular Penguin Plunge, and our second annual Ski Jor!

You can stay at our downtown condo, drinking mimosas and spiked cocoa from the balcony over the river, watching the hot air balloons ascend into the sky. It's a 5 min walk to several winterfest activities downtown. Or you can stay at our beautiful home nestled on the snowy San Juan river just east of town, 25 mins from the best skiing at wolf creek. Both links are in the comments.

It is an epic hallmark weekend in our winter wonderland, that you do not want to miss!!!

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Idealistic spot for those that like to fish or like to wake up to the sounds of a river in the morning. If you like the pictures, this property is even better in person. We enjoyed hanging out by the river throwing a football, tossing washers, and catching up on our reading. We also found the trout to be willing to bite our flies. Our kids were happy too with the online connectivity so that they wouldn't lose touch with their friends. The location is surrounded by too many beautiful outdoor activities to count all within an hour away. We both cooked at home (kitchen-ware was sufficient) and hit the local restaurants. The beer at Rif Raf Brewery and the baked goods from Pagosa Bakery will be fondly missed. Chris and Rachael did a fantastic job responding to questions both before and during our stay. They also were great in acquiring a new electric charcoal lighting device when the old one wasn't working. And other than random crossing of paths, we never really knew they were there. I give them and this location the highest rating I can when I say I'd stay there again.
