Listen for the fighter jets flying over! We hear them a lot at the cabin and they sound like they are coming through the house! I wish we had been at the top on the tower when they flew over! So cool!

Our Story

In October of 2019, after months of searching, we took a huge leap of faith and purchased a log cottage in Paint Bank, VA.

It is located 30 minutes outside of Covington, VA and only 5 miles from a sweet little hamlet called Paint Bank. The log cottage was constructed from a barn, which was relocated from another county and transformed into a 2,400 square foot home - backing up to Pott's Creek and joining the National Forest.

The weekend we purchased the property, we jumped right into renovations on the kitchen, living room, master bedroom and downstairs baths.

Quickly this log cottage has become our home away from home and a true labor of love. We would be honored for you to come with us on our adventure as we transform this rusty crown into a beautiful place to not only enjoy ourselves but to share with others. It is transforming into a perfect getaway with beautiful sunrises, mountain views, starry skies like no other and an abundance of rest and relaxation.
