Not every destination wedding happens on a beach.

This week I am sharing a different kind of celebration: the historic casas and haciendas of Merida and the Yucatan countryside. Think stone walls, courtyards, gardens under old trees, and rooms full of history. Merida is one of Mexico's beautiful colonial cities, known for its food, music, and easy pace, and it is an easy trip from the US.

Here is how it works with me. I provide full wedding planning services for these weddings, with the local team at Trama, and I book the accommodations too. Some venues have rooms on site for the couple and close family, and I place the rest of your guests at hotels nearby. Venue rentals start at $4,133, and planning comes with a wedding planning fee. I will walk you through it all before you pick a date.

Follow along, one venue a day. Which sounds more like you, a city mansion in Merida or a hacienda out in the countryside?

Sneaking away at sunset is always worth it. ✨

The party can wait five minutes. You two, the sand, and that sky. These quiet portraits end up meaning the most.

Save this for your photo list.

One of my favorite parts of this job: getting to celebrate with my couples on the night. 🤍

That is me on the right. When you work with me, you get a planner who is in it with you, from the first call to the last dance.

🌴 MAJESTIC FRIENDS TRIP 2027: Our Jamaica Group Trip. Book your spot now.

Blue Hole is one of my favorite Jamaica moments. Clear blue water, waterfalls, and rope swings, and the perfect spot to steal a quiet minute together.

We will be staying at Princess Senses The Mangrove in Negril, May 27 to June 3, 2027. Stay 3 nights or the whole week, adults only and all inclusive.

Our second payment is due November 1, so now is the best time to lock in your room. Spots are held with a $100 per person deposit, monthly payments are welcome, and final payment is March 1, 2027.

Book here: https://traveljoy.com/bookings/cYBHpDtEtRJzhDjueFE3ircT

Would you brave the rope swing or watch from the water?

Reception, but make it a show. 🥁

These two jumped right in with the water drums and the whole party loved it. Your reception should be this much fun.

What would your big party moment be?
