Palm Springs Air Museum] GALA!


Posted • Palm Springs Air Museum] Our Annual Gala will be taking place on February 18th, 2023, and will honor eight women pioneers of aviation with this year's theme being: Women In Aviation: Quest for Excellence.

Leading up to the big night, we will share a bio on each of this year's honorees who will be recognized at the Gala. Learn about their outstanding accomplishments by joining us on February 18th and meet our honorees in person.

Tammie Jo Shults, LT CDR, USN (Ret); Pilot, Test Pilot, Commercial Pilot:

Tammie is a testimony of what it takes to be a diverse pilot who has experience in different occupations. From Flight Instructor to Tactical Electronic Warfare Squadron, Navy Reserve, to Southwest Pilot, Tammie has worn multiple hats in her career. In 2018 all this experience helped her guide a failing Boeing 737-700 full of passengers safely to the ground.
