This intimate tour of no more than 10 people at a time will meet in Palmer or Talkeetna, depending on your tour. Tour participants will visit three unique farms and enjoy eating an all Alaska Grown meal at one of the beautiful vista farms. Have more than 10 people? Talkeetna Farm Tours are here! Eat, drink, touch, explore! Come and join us for a relaxing half day experiencing Alaska’s food and farm culture in Talkeetna, Alaska. If you’re riding the Alaska Railroad to Talkeetna or in town visiting, we’ll meet at the train station to depart for the half-day tour. We will begin our tour at The Grove and enjoy a selection of meats and nuts with a fresh pesto made right before your eyes using just cut micro-greens and topped with flower petals from the farm's edible flower garden. Next we will visit one of the first of its kind on earth, Kahiltna Birchworks, which specializes in tapping and syrup production from Alaskan birch trees. At the tasting room we’ll have a flight of beverages at Alaska’s second largest brewery, Denali Brewing Co. We’ll say our goodbyes and get you back on the Alaska Railroad or to your hotel.

It was a little windy today, but just look at this little nugget running with her mom! Her name is Bumblebee, and she’s just slightly over a week old and about 30lbs. She’s learning about her legs and how quickly they can take her places. We frequently head to this farm to view the musk oxen, so if this is a definite “MUST SEE” on your Palmer Farm Tour, just put it in the notes when you book online. I will make it happen!! 😍 (More pics in the comments of Bumblebee!)
