The countdown is on guys ! only 18 days until the start of the last great race on earth, The Iditarod. March 7th in downtown Anchorage, some 79 Mushers will begin their quest to win the most famous dog sled race on the planet. We've attended the race start many times and it is one of the most exciting events to be a part of. Mushers from all over the world come here with their teams, there are rookies and old timers and it is so exciting to see all the dog teams. Although the start will still be in Anchorage, due to a lack of snow (can you imagine) the official start will be the following day in Fairbanks.

Hello everyone. We are starting to get busy with bookings for the upcoming season. July is now fully booked but we have loads of dates for other months so please check out our calendar link below. Some exciting recent news is we have been approached by both The Discovery and History Channel who are interested in filming the cabin for new shows which is very exciting so maybe you'll be able to see the cabin on the TV soon !!
