An important RIP CURRENT reminder for those going to the beach this summer. Unfortunately, it's where it looks easiest and safest to enter the water. This is because the rip current is looping around and pulling back OUT. Hence no waves rolling IN. NEVER ENTER THE WATER HERE.

If you are already in the water and get caught in a rip current (you'll know because you will suddenly be moved from your location and it will be impossible to swim against it) don't panic. Swim ACROSS, not against the rip current. For example, rather than trying to swim to shore while being pushed out, swim parallel to the beach and you will be able to get out. Then you can swim ashore.

It’s been a minute since we posted last so let us reintroduce ourselves. Sey La Vie is a newly renovated 1 bedroom 2 bath beachfront condo. Our coastal modern themed unit is perfectly located on the 4th floor in Seychelles in Panama City Beach. Our property features 2 swimming pools one of which are heated, a hot tub, and a fitness center. We are located at the quieter end of the beach. You can walk to St Andrew's State Park from the condo. We have great restaurants within walking distance our personal favorite is next door Schooners!
