accommodations and recreational opportunities for your perfect destination spot. Ideally situated between the Ouachita and Ozark Mountain Ranges, the region is treasured for its scenic beauty. Encompassing six counties (Conway, Johnson, Logan, Perry, Pope and Yell), the region is rich in heritage and culture with museums ranging from antique cars to prehistoric civilization. Arkansas’s major wineries are located within the region and offer public tours. The Arkansas River Valley Tri-Peaks Tourism Association held its Annual Awards Celebration and Banquet at Lake Sylvia in Perry County on Tuesday, April 8. The event was sponsored by Perry County Chamber of Commerce, First Electric Cooperative, Kinetic Internet, Clarksville Chamber, Ed Williams, Perry County, Bentley Plastics, City of Morrilton, Russellville Tourism, Main Street Russellville & Paris Chamber of Commerce.
