NEW POLICY IF YOU ARE FLYING UNITED AIRLINES!
“Starting June 3, passengers traveling with United must check in 45 minutes before departure time, regardless of whether they’re checking a bag.

The airline’s current rule requires passengers flying domestically to check in just 30 minutes before departure if they’re not checking a bag. Those flying internationally must check in 60 minutes before departure. That rule remains unchanged.”

IMPORTANT FOR TRAVELERS TO/THRU THE UK!!!!
Beginning January 8, 2025, U.S. passport holders traveling to the United Kingdom will need to obtain an Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) before entering the country. This requirement applies to all visa-free nationals visiting for up to six months who do not need a visa. An ETA is valid for two years or until the applicant’s passport expires, whichever comes first, and allows multiple trips to the UK. Visitors with an ETA can engage in tourism, business, or short-term studies for up to six months per visit.
“After you apply, you will get an email confirming you have got an ETA. It will be linked to the passport you applied with. Your ETA lasts for two years. You can travel to the UK as many times as you want during that time. If you get a new passport, you will need to get a new ETA,” stated the guidance published on the UK.gov website.

In 2005 I joined the family of Living Donors when I gave a kidney to my friend JJim Morgenland Since then I have participated in 8 Transplant Games competitions with Team Liberty to raise awareness about organ donation, as well as every New Jersey Sharing Network 5K. On June 9th I will again complete in the NJSN 5K with Team Liberty, running against other women in the 60-69 age group. (My last year in this age group!) Would you consider making a small donation to support Team Liberty and organ donation in memory of my kidney recipient Jim?
