My Blue Heaven Cabin "Your Ozark Hideaway on the Little Buffalo River" This rustic,yet comfortable cabin ,easily acclimates up to 11 guest but is cozy enough for a romantic getaway.

My Blue Heaven Cabin is a secluded retreat in the middle of 125 acre wildlife sanctuary with over 3/4 mile frontage on the Little Buffalo River in the heart of the Ozark Mountains in Northwest Arkansas. Our 3 bedroom, 2 bath cabin offers a spectacular view 180 degree view of the Little Buffalo River Valley, the largest tributary of the Buffalo Nation River. Our guest house, within walking distance

, can accommodate up to 4 additional guests. The cabin is very well -equipped and all you need to bring are your groceries and personal items. The wrap around deck has a hot tub, picnic table and a grill. We have a large level yard and a playhouse for the kids. It's a short walk down a mowed path to our spring fed swimming hole. We have over 2 miles of mowed trails and provide a golf cart for families and the less able. We often have guest who don't leave the property during their stay but enjoy the quiet solitude of this relaxing setting. We are 9 miles Southwest of Jasper, Ar in scenic Newton County. Lots of folks come to float and hike the Buffalo National River and it's many trails.

When the red clover blooms it's always a beautiful sight. These pictures were taken during the shut down a few weeks ago. We had time to make some improvements. Aletha Tetterton did some painting for us. Then we refinished the deck and bought new couches to improve the seating in the great room.

We've had a great summer at My Blue Heaven. With 14 inches of rain during August we are expecting a colorful fall.

Even in the hottest days of summer with a little rain the Naked Ladies bloom along the driveway to the cabin. Some folks know them as Surprise Lillies. I'm always surprised at how beautiful they are.

If you are going green I would venture to say we have the only electric car charging station in Newton County. Pretty cool that your car can be powered by the sun! I would definitely recommend New Farm Solar and Patrick Villines and his crew from Ponca, AR.

We are proud to be listed on darkskyarkansas.com Guests have told me they saw more stars from our cabin than they have seen since they were kids. Some bring there telescopes for meteor showers and others have made their reservations so they could experience an eclipse from the hot tub. Come visit us this summer and see for yourself the wonders a dark sky can reveal.
