What a day!!!!!
1. Getting hangry, we were checking exits to determine where to pull over and grub... Did you know that streets that end in Dr really stands for Doctor? They do, just ask Jeanne. 😜
And all this time I thought it stood for drive?!?!?
2. As soon as we arrived at the storage facility the storm began dumping on us! Lightning struck something and sparks flew very close to where we were!!!! (I think Jeanne p*e'd her pants)
3. The muscle of the group had to cut open the storage unit with a "saws all" because the employee didn't have the key. 😒
4. The dump normally utilized was closed because their power was out.... a. Who knew a dump needed power to function properly
b. The next nearest dump was over an hour away....
All the while us girls sat sorting and sorting piles of doodoo (not literally, although someone DID have to p*e in a cup)
5. Leaving much later than expected, the roads were pure chaos... After attempting multiple routes home only to encounter flooding, extreme traffic and stranded cars, we ended up returning from Willis, Tx via Porter....
Doesn't it always take 3 hours to get to Deer Park from Conroe????
What an experience! As always....
