Attention All Anglers:
As Columbia Gorge Springer season begins, I’d like to remind ALL users of some new expectations at Drano Lake. In conjunction with the Federal Hatchery at Drano, below are some guidelines we would like to see ALL anglers adhere to. Police each other respectfully and let’s all do our part to have a great season.
1. Please dispose fish carcasses in the middle of the lake, not the shoreline. The map is a good guideline but let’s also try to make it a habit around the entire lake shore to dispose carcasses in the lake or even outside in the river before you trailer up for the day.
2. Please adhere to all parking signs/areas and do not block traffic, especially on the hatchery access road
3. Keep boat wake to a minimum and do not motor up on plane inside the lake.
4. No boat beaching in designated bank fishing site on west side of lake at handicap ramp.
5. Please respect others by utilizing porta John’s around the lake. Gracious donors have added a few toilets this year, so please use them! Others are paying for clean outs out of their pockets….respect the property and keep it clean and sanitary.

These are easy requests and will go a long way in making this a great Springer season! If you have questions, reach out and thank you all for your efforts! Please share this message!
