Small producers, rare pours and plenty to discover 🍷

The The Garagiste Festival returns to Paso Robles November 6 and 7 for its 16th anniversary, bringing together more than 50 micro production w**emakers and over 200 w**es for a weekend built around discovery. Many of these producers don’t have tasting rooms, making this one of the best chances to meet the w**emakers, hear their stories and taste bottles you may not find anywhere else.

The weekend includes a Rare & Reserve tasting at The AVA Hotel, the Grand Tasting at the Paso Event Center, a w**emaker seminar and a Saturday night after party 🕺

A pretty big milestone is lighting up Paso Robles ✨

Sensorio is getting ready to welcome its one-millionth guest, and your visit this fall could be the one that makes history. Seven years after Bruce Munro’s Field of Light first illuminated the Paso Robles hills, the once temporary installation has grown into a permanent 35-acre evening destination right here on the Central Coast.

Starting October 8, guests 21 and over who purchase admission are automatically entered in the One Million Guests Sweepstakes. A new fall stop just joined the Paso itinerary 🎃
The 46 Ranch Pumpkin Patch is bringing classic fall fun to a working regenerative farm. Pick out the perfect pumpkin, hop on a hay wagon farm tour, meet the animals in the petting zoo, race rubber duckies, take a spin on the train and wander through the Witch’s Path. Feeling a little competitive? There are even pumpkin and apple cannons.

Come hungry, too. Apple c***r donuts, kettle corn, BBQ and other seasonal treats are all part of the experience.

Harvest W**e Month brings the work of w**emaking a little closer. Walk through the vineyards, get a look inside the cellar, taste w**e straight from the barrel or gather with friends for a grape stomp. W**eries across Paso are hosting their own celebrations throughout the month, with w**emaker dinners, live music and plenty of opportunities to meet the people who make it all happen.

One weekend, a whole lot of talent, and a Paso Robles takeover we’re still not over 🍒

The Farmers & Makers Weekend brought an incredible group of women together across Paso Robles for a celebration of food, w**e, farming and the people behind it all. The weekend included a Welcome Party at Hope Family W**es in partnership with California Grown, a morning experience at The Ava Hotel, a w**e pairing lunch with J. Lohr Vineyards & W**es, She’s My Cherry Pie: After Dark at EMRE at The Ava Hotel in partnership with California Prunes, a Paso Robles walking tour with Hope Family W**es and a Sunday Supper Club at Halter Ranch Vineyard in partnership with Whole Foods.

At the center of it all was Saturday’s Farmers & Makers Market at Paso Robles Inn, where female-led farms, w**eries, food businesses, makers and panel speakers came together at the 1889 Ballroom and The Piccolo at the Paso Robles Inn. Seeing so many talented women in one place, and so many people there to support their work, was something special.

A huge thank you to Cherry Bombe and everyone who helped bring the Farmers & Makers Weekend to Paso Robles.

And yes, we’re still dreaming about those Paso Robles tote bags 🩷

Halloween may get the last day of October, but Paso Robles has plenty happening before we get there 🎃 🧡

Spend the month hunting for vintage finds at Three Speckled Hens, celebrate Paso Robles history at Paso Robles Pioneer Day, catch the action at The Bovine Classic, make time for local art at Studios on the Park and gather in Downtown City Park for the Día de los Mu***os Festival.

Pioneer Day has been doing Saturdays right since 1931 🤠

The 96th annual celebration takes over Paso Robles on October 10, bringing one of the city’s oldest traditions back downtown for a full day of history, community and a whole lot of tractors.

A few tips for doing Pioneer Day right:

🤠 Get downtown early. Cooking for the Paso Robles Pioneer Day Bean Feed starts at 7am, followed by the Children’s Pet Contest and Little Cowboy/Cowgirl Contest before the parade.

🚜 Claim your parade spot. The Pioneer Day Parade kicks off at 10am at 16th and Spring Street with antique tractors, horse-drawn wagons, marching bands, vintage cars, mounted equestrian groups and plenty more rolling through downtown.

🫘 Save room for beans. The famous free Bean Feed begins at noon in City Park, a tradition that has been part of Pioneer Day’s community-first spirit for generations.

🐎 Don’t call it a day after the parade. Museum activities, a Whiskerino Contest, horseshoe pitching, Gymkhana and Pioneer Games keep things going into the afternoon.

Dust off the boots, grab a lawn chair and come celebrate a Paso tradition nearly a century in the making!

The herd is heading back to w**e country 🐄 🚲

The Bovine Classic returns October 24 with a seriously unserious day on two wheels, sending riders across gravel, ranch land and private vineyard terrain around Atascadero and Paso Robles. Three route options range from 45 to 88 miles, so there’s plenty of room to choose your own level of “moojo.”

And the fun doesn’t end at the finish line. The post ride festival at Sunken Gardens is free and open to the public, with live music, awards and plenty of reasons to cheer on the herd.
