Central Coast Cruisers - California, USA

Central Coast Cruisers - California, USA Central Coast Cruisers is an informal riding group, dedicated to the enjoyment of cruiser-style motorcycles. We are not an MC. We hold no affiliations.

We are an informal riding group located on the beautiful central coast of California, in San Luis Obispo County. We have no officers, no dues, no formal structure... just an unending desire to ride with and spend time with people we enjoy. Our rules are few... the rules necessary for us all to get there and back safely. We use common group riding techniques. Our only hard and fast rule is our alco

hol policy... NO drinking before or during a ride. Once we reach our final destination, you are an adult and are responsible for your own actions. If we don't feel safe, we don't have to ride home with you. All our major decisions are made together, as a group, just like the way we ride... "We ride together, we decide together." If you're in to drama, politics, chest-puffery, ego stroking, or any other self-serving attitudes or behaviors, the you've come to the wrong place. If you want to put on some miles, see some amazing sights, spend some time with some great people, and simply enjoy life on two wheels and all it has to offer, then come along with us.

Info for non-riders on ways to support the es**rt of The Wall That Heals this Tuesday, including flag line along side the road entering Madonna meadow, flag displays on overpasses, etc. Also included in the video are schedules for viewing the wall, guided tours info, and volunteers talking about the Wall, the Viet Nam War in general, etc. Pretty much everything you need to know about the Wall's procession, display at Madonna, etc, and even including info about getting trained to be a Wall volunteer yourself. Definitely worth a watch.

The Wall That Heals aka the traveling Vietnam Wall, is coming to San Luis Obispo.I talk about the dates and what we need help with.Thank you to Madonna Inn, ...

It’s with a very sad heart that I bring this news to my riding ‘family’. Long time Atascadero HOG chapter member, Head Road Captain, and Founding Member of Central Coast Cruisers, Ken Bishop, passed on to his Heavenly home today. I received word from his wife Sue this afternoon. Ken and Sue were already highly active members, and Ken was Head Road Captain, when Kerri and I joined the HOG chapter so many years ago. They were some of the first to welcome us into the group. Ken was one of the nicest people you could ever meet. His gentle demeanor, easy smile, and generous spirit made Ken a pleasure to be around. His amazing knowledge of highways, back roads, and pretty much any route that would make for a great motorcycle ride was almost uncanny, and made him an amazing Road Captain. Ken seemed to love leading a caravan of bikes, genuinely enjoying it, and it seemed to just come naturally to him. One of my fondest memories of any of my many Harley journeys, though, is returning from the National HOG Rally in Billings, Montana, just the two of us. On the road all day and well into the night, minor misadventures in the middle of nowhere in Idaho well after dark, on the road on the 4th of July, hanging out after a hard day’s riding before calling it a night, then getting up the next morning to do it all over again. So many rides, so many memories, and so many great times, with a man that just made it easy to enjoy being around him. We’ve missed Ken and Sue since they moved from the area several years ago, but knowing Ken is gone makes us miss him all the more. Ken passed peacefully with family by his side. Our thoughts and prayers are with Sue and the rest of the family. Ken will live on in our fondest memories, and those of us who knew him know he’s now forever In The Wind, riding the most beautiful roads anyone could ever imagine. Peace, Ken.

A small group of riders, a crystal clear sunny day in between storms, lazy elephant seals, and graceful butterflies. In other words, just another beautiful day on the Central Coast. Elephant Seals at San Simeon, and Monarch butterflies at the Pismo Beach Monarch Grove.

All our CCC brothers, sisters, and friends... please join me in holding up the family of our brother Charlie Hartz in your thoughts and prayers. Charlie passed last night, and we will truly miss him... his love of riding, his enthusiasm for the club, and his wry smile. Personally, I will also miss having Charlie always wanting to ride on my wing, eager to play on those stretches of road that just needed to be carved. Ride high on those perfect roads, brother, with the wind always in your face and the sun always shining upon you.

2007 Dyna Wide Glide - PRICE REDUCED
Suede Blue Pearl and Vivid Black, fairly uncommon color combination
96 cu. in. engine
6 spd trans
Vance & Hines Fuel Pak fuel controller
Vance & Hines Big Radius exhaust (I have Vance & Hines Long Shots
exhaust available also)
Stage 1 Intake with reusable high flow filter
Detachable docking hardware
Fully quick-detachable Viking rigid saddlebags, with factory locking straps and additional HD barrel key locks on lids
Brand new battery
Newer Michelin Commander II tires
Custom grips
Custom mirrors
HD Sport quick release windshield
HD Flames collection air cleaner cover, derby cover and timing cover
Custom billet tribal flame shift linkage
Custom hand painted flame pinstriping
Fuel gauge
HD two up seat
Hidden Blue LED lights highlighting engine. (Lights and switch in good condition, but new wiring needed... easy DIY)

This machine is a blast to ride. The two up seat is very comfortable, so much so that I've ridden this bike to Sturgis and back twice, both times leaving my bigger bagger/touring bike at home. The stretched out front end and laid back forward controls of the Wide Glide series are reminiscent of old school chopper styling, but the 96 inch motor, 6 speed transmission, and stage 1 upgrades give it contemporary performance. The 2007 came factory stock with taller mini-ape hanger bars, compared to short drag bars on newer models, so no bar upgrade is needed. This bike will accommodate riders of many sizes. I am 6' 3" tall and am very comfortable. Michelin Commander II tires have a majority of their tread left. The Viking Saddlebags are mounted on key locked Easy Brackets, quickly removed and re-mounted for removal while traveling, storage, etc.
Quick disconnect hardware is installed on the bike, but backrest, etc. is NOT included.
I am only selling this bike to buy a different Harley from a friend. If his bike sells first, I'm keeping this one, so no guarantee as to how long this one will be available.
I have a separate V&H Long Shots exhaust available that came on the bike. If you choose it over the installed Big Radius exhaust, switching exhausts would be done at YOUR additional expense, through a local reputable shop... no DIY or garage mechanics.
I also have a LaPera flame stitched solo seat available, also on an EITHER/OR basis. You choose ONE seat with your purchase.
Asking $7700
Cash payment, or verifiable certified cashier's check only... no exceptions.
