Created by awesome “insider” sources, we guide you to local destinations that suit your whims and desires. Going wine tasting but not sure which wineries to visit, how to get there, or when they are open? Our mobile travel guide at www.geo.to/Paso has maps and directions that shows you nearby wineries and a variety of tasting trails you’ll love right from your phone or tablet. Just grab your phone

or tablet and go to geo.to/Paso for your maps! If you are in-town your location will be picked up. If you are in the countryside it's best to insert your location and the maps will identify the closest wineries, restaurants, hotels, breweries, cheese shops, coffee shops, olive oil tasting, etc. complete with mapping, directions, their distance from you, business hours, phone numbers, and links to their websites. If you lose connectivity the step-by-step directions will stay on your phone. Or jump to our “Tasting Trails” button. You'll find specially selected wineries with unique characteristics such as "Cool and Hip" and "Pretty Settings". For people passing through the area we have a button for tasting rooms located "Downtown" or "Near Highway 101". We will be adding more trails such as varietals, so don't be a stranger! And what about those pesky tasting note sheets that inevitably get misplaced or crumpled under the car mats? Take tasting notes from your phone or tablet and save a tree. Go to the winery you are visiting and click on their “Tasting Notes” button. Select the wine from their list and take your wine notes on your phone or tablet and send it to yourself and/or others. Note that the tasting note feature is currently limited to a handful of wineries. Let us know if you’d like a specific winery to include this feature and we will get right on it! Want to text or email your friends? Paso Robles Wineries has a quick text message (SMS) option for each winery including prefilled messaging such as “Come meet us at Halter Ranch Winery” to which you can add additional text. You can also click a button to email your friends. Want to use Twitter or share to Facebook or Linked-In? You can do this straight from each winery’s page, or scan and send a winery’s QR code to your friends. Our quick click and go will insure you won't miss a social networking beat! Noticed a problem? If you’re looking for a wine tasting experience that feels like an adventure, don’t miss . 🍷⛰️

One of the things we loved most about this experience was how personal it felt from start to finish. You’re not walking into a crowded tasting room or being rushed through pours here. The entire ranch tour feels intentionally designed to help you slow down, explore, and actually connect with the place you’re visiting.

And the property itself is stunning!! 😍

Hoyt sits on limestone-rich hillsides, which are known for producing structured, expressive wines that Paso Robles has become famous for. As you drive through the ranch, you really start to understand how much the land shapes the experience in your glass.

This is the kind of tasting we’d recommend for:
🍷 people visiting Paso for the first time or those looking for more depth in their wine tasting
🌿 couples wanting a more intimate experience
👯‍♀️ groups looking for something interactive and memorable
☀️ anyone wanting to spend an entire afternoon soaking up wine country

Reservations are highly recommended, especially for the ranch tour experience!

🍷 Open Thu-Sat from 12-8 & Sun from 12-5

There’s always something fun happening at , and that’s part of what makes this place so special. 🍷🎉 🌿

Yes, the wines are incredible.
Yes, the views are beautiful.

But what keeps people coming back are the moments shared around the table: library wines and barrel tastings, relaxed afternoons with smashburgers or a full on fiesta, and sunset evenings that feel more like a gathering of friends than a winery event.

If you’ve been looking for an excuse to visit Oso Libre, consider this your sign:

The vibe at ? Warm welcomes and really good wine. 🍷🤗

It’s never just about what’s in the glass here. It’s about long tables, shared stories, inside jokes, birthday celebrations, and the kind of hospitality that makes you feel like family the moment you walk through the door.

This family-owned, veteran-founded winery has spent decades building more than just incredible wines... they’ve built a community. And while their old vines, handcrafted wines, and recognition as ✨Small Producer of the Year✨ speak to the quality of what they do, it’s the people that make visitors return again and again.

At , wine has always been about more than what’s in the glass... it’s about people, community, and showing up for causes that matter. 🍷🐾

That spirit was on full display at their recent Wine4Paws celebration at , where every ticket sold went directly to supporting the through the incredible work of .

No gimmicks. No catch. Just a local winery using what they do best to give back in a meaningful way.

And that’s what makes Hayseed & Housdon so special.

Beyond the laid-back downtown Paso vibe and great wines, there’s real heart behind everything they do. They believe wine should bring people together; and when it can help animals in need and strengthen the local community at the same time, even better!

Supporting places like this means supporting the kind of Paso Robles we all want to see thrive: generous, connected, welcoming, and deeply rooted in community.

💬 “PUPS” for the winery guide — 30+ spots, tips for hot weather, and our favorite stops.

Paso Robles has 30+ dog-friendly tasting rooms. Here’s how to plan the perfect pup-friendly wine day. 🐾

Your dog deserves a wine trip too.
Paso Robles is one of the most dog-welcoming wine regions in California — not because it’s a policy, but because of the open estate culture and the genuine warmth of the producers here. Over 30 tasting rooms welcome leashed dogs, most with outdoor patios and water bowls at the ready.

A few things that make it work: go in the morning before the heat kicks in, keep it to two or three stops (for you and your dog), and call ahead since outdoor seating varies.

Tag your wine tasting buddy who also happens to be a dog parent — this one’s for you both
