Today is the first day of National Travel & Tourism Week! ✉️

This week is a nationwide celebration of the travel industry and the role it plays in supporting local economies, strengthening communities, and connecting people through shared experiences.

This year’s theme, “Postmarked: Essential,” highlights how travel leaves a lasting mark on our communities, our businesses, and the memories we take with us.

Here in Peachtree City, that journey might start with a simple postcard. Make a plan to stop by the Visitors Center tomorrow to pick one up and send it to someone, and tell them about the lakes, paths, and everything you love in Peachtree City!

Break out your hats, Peachtree City Recreation and Special Events is hosting Derby Day at Drake Field 🐎🎩

Join the fun on Saturday, May 2 (5–8 PM) at Drake Field for a lively watch party featuring games, contests, food, drinks, and a big screen showing of the race. There will be a best-dressed competition, hobby horse races, and line dancing; it’s a full evening of festive fun.

You’ll also find trivia, the Peachtree City Market, a wine dinner, BMX action, and more happening throughout the week.

Happy Earth Day from Peachtree City 🌎🌿

This week in Peachtree City, one event you won’t want to miss: Filet Friday🥩.

Elliott’s Restaurant is serving up 6oz Certified Angus Beef tenderloin filets, cut fresh in-house on Friday, April 24, starting at 11 AM. There are only 30 filets available, so once they’re gone—they’re gone.

You’ll also find trivia, line dancing, live music, and more happening throughout the week.

🍻 What an incredible night at Hops & Props!

With amazing breweries, live music by the Duncan Brothers Band, historic aircraft at CAF Airbase Georgia, volunteers, vendors, and an amazing crowd, Saturday became something truly special yet again. We are so grateful to everyone who came out and made it such a memorable event.

After tallying votes from our attendees, we’re excited to announce this year’s Best Brewery: Senoia Beer Company 👏

Every single brewery brought something unique to the experience, and we were proud to showcase the best of Georgia craft beer right here in Peachtree City.
