☄️ Halley’s Comet Is Back… But This Time, It’s Raining Fire

No, the comet itself isn’t returning just yet — but its ancient trail of cosmic debris is lighting up our skies. 🌌
On May 5 & 6, the Eta Aquariid meteor shower will peak, and it’s one of the best celestial shows of the season.

🕰️ When to Watch
Set your alarms early — just before dawn is prime time.
• May 5 around 15:00 UTC
• May 6 around 03:00 UTC
Don’t worry if you miss the peak — the show runs April 15 to May 27, with plenty of sparks flying before and after!

🌙 Moon Magic
On May 4, the moon is at its First Quarter. That means after midnight, the sky gets darker — perfect for spotting meteors streaking across the sky.

📍 Where to Look
• Best viewing: Southern Hemisphere & southern U.S.
• Northern Hemisphere? Still worth it — just look toward the eastern horizon before sunrise.
• The radiant is in Aquarius, but you’ll see meteors all over the sky.
