Bridget and Jeffrey marked their 25th anniversary with a truly unforgettable journey through Central Europe’s Imperial Capitals - the perfect way to celebrate such a special milestone. ❤

They began in , strolling its cobbled streets and taking in the beauty of Prague Castle before continuing to , with a storybook stop in Cesky Krumlov along the way. Vienna’s elegance, from its grand boulevards to Schönbrunn Palace, set the scene for days full of history and charm, while a stop to added another layer of discovery. Their trip ended in , where an evening cruise on the Danube, with the city lights reflecting on the water, created a picture-perfect finale.

August 24 marks Ukraine’s Independence Day, celebrating the country’s declaration of independence from the Soviet Union in 1991. This year, as the war continues, the date carries even deeper meaning.⁣

It’s easy to imagine Ukraine right now as only a place of conflict. But life, somehow, still goes on. Our Finance Executive, Kateryna, along with her daughter, recently visited family there and captured moments that tell a different side of the story: children laughing in parks, friends meeting in cafes, and couples strolling through city squares. These are small, everyday joys, but they speak volumes about resilience.⁣
⁣
Ukrainians continue to live, love, and dream, not just survive. And we hope for the day when peace returns, when Ukraine’s vibrant cities and rich culture can welcome travelers once again.⁣

If you really want to get to know , you can’t just admire its art or stroll through its grand piazzas, you have to taste it.

One of the best ways? Spend a slow, delicious morning wandering through its markets and backstreets with one of our favorite guides, following your nose from the smell of freshly baked bread to the sizzle of coccoli in hot oil.

The tour begins at a food market, a spot the locals have cherished for generations but most visitors never discover. It’s where real Florentines shop, chat, and enjoy life. As you wander past colorful stalls, you’ll taste pecorino from the Tuscan hills, crostini with chicken liver, and fresh produce straight from the season’s harvest, while your guide shares stories that blend the city’s food, history, and traditions.

From there, the flavors get bolder - golden fried coccoli with creamy stracchino cheese, the infamous panino al lampredotto that locals swear by, and a slow-cooked Peposo beef stew, all enjoyed with a glass of wine in hand.

The day ends on a sweet note with a scoop of crema buontalenti, the very first gelato flavor ever created in Italy.

🇪🇪 While many know Estonia’s Independence Day is February 24 (celebrating freedom from Russia in 1918), August 20 marks another pivotal moment - the day in 1991 when Estonia regained its independence from the Soviet Union after decades of occupation.⁣

It happened during the Singing Revolution: a remarkable, peaceful movement, where hundreds of thousands of Estonians gathered to sing forbidden patriotic songs, keeping their national spirit alive until the moment came to stand up again. On August 20, the Estonian parliament declared the restoration of the Republic of Estonia, and the world recognized its sovereignty soon after.⁣

A few things you might not know about Estonia:⁣
