I used to live in Argentina & will be leading & hosting a FAM Trip to Argentina in early 2027 for travel advisors, chefs & wine professionals with my luxury wine/gastronomy tour company 🇦🇷🍷🍇.

Right in my courtyard this morning. putting on an incredible event showcasing our artisan quality jamón (ham) legs in Spain 🇪🇸.

Fun fact about Spanish jamón (ham). The top quality varieties are acorn fed to improve their flavor.

My favorite variety of Spanish ham is Jamón de Bellota Pata Negra. Absolutely worth a try when sampling Spanish jamón (ham).

Convento de las Dueñas in Salamanca, Spain, founded in 1419, is a historic Dominican convent known for its beautiful cloister and blend of Mudéjar, Gothic, and Plateresque architectural styles.

The convent was originally established in a Moorish-style palace and still houses Dominican nuns today. Its ornate cloister, with imaginative carved capitals and peaceful atmosphere, makes it one of Salamanca’s hidden architectural gems.

A very special wine pairing in Portugal 🇵🇹 today with Alvarinho wines from the Vinho Verde DOC produced in 🏺 amphorae.

Wines produced in amphorae have fantastic flavor notes. Whenever we are able to show clients wines produced in this production method that dates back thousands of years to cultures such as Ancient Rome & Greece, we do so at 🏺🏺👏🏻👏🏻.

Shells are a symbolism in Galicia tied to the pilgrims making their way to Santiago de Compostela to show respect to St. James.

They symbolize spiritual renewal, pilgrimage & protection.

This church behind me is entirely made of shells & it is common to see them everywhere even in the most hidden places jn Galicia. 🇪🇸
