From custom leatherwork to historic craftsmanship, and even some contemporary pop culture surprises, they met artisans with over 150 years of combined experience—a living legacy of Pendleton’s creative spirit.

On Main Street in Pendleton, the distinct scent of leather greets you upon opening the door to LL Bevington, a small brick-and-mortar shop filled with handcrafted goods. Bevington's specialty is original-design leather vests, each a work of art, alongside beautifully made bags and home decor, all crafted from premium materials. Her creations are designed to be loved for a lifetime, whether they're custom orders or ready-to-wear pieces available in the shop.

Bevington's passion for her craft is matched only by her fondness for Pendleton's maker community. "We refer customers to each other and continually promote Pendleton as a home to gifted makers," she says. "It's a place where people spend years honing their artistry, and we encourage visitors to come back again, and sometimes even join us."

LL Bevington's path to Pendleton was unexpected. In 2009, after leaving a career in interior design in Colorado during the recession, she came to visit a friend. "I never intended to stay," she laughs. "But one year led to another and in 2015, I opened my shop." What keeps her here is simple: "The people. This community is full of encouragement, involvement, and kindness. I love it here and love promoting our town to visitors and newcomers alike."

From timeless leather vests to heirloom-worthy bags, LL Bevington's work is as much about connection as it is about craftsmanship--rooted in Pendleton, and made to last.
