Hej Midgardians!

The End draws ever nearer! As we approach the final days and final hours, we present the rough Saturday schedule for the climax and denouement of the world of Menn.

5 Bells of the Evening: The sonne sets for the very last time on the lands, drawing away with it all light, all warmth, and all hope for salvation. To survive past the last rays of light is to consign yourself to the darkness and the race for the Last Fire. (All outstanding plots, rituals, planned scenes MUST be completed at this time, only Survivors are still human at this point.)

6 Bells of the Evening: The Twilight Army begins its final assault, with undead flooding the lands and destroying all who cross their path. There are no longer friends or foes, only prey to be crushed. (The entire site is open to play. Survivors should hide, fight, and do all they can to make it through ambushes and assaults.)

8 Bells of the Evening: A dim glow signals familiar vestiges of warmth, as horns trumpet the very last bastion of Menn. Those remaining are summoned for the Last Fire. (All may gather at the Last Fire, and The End is declared.)

Once we have all ascended, we'll gather in the great halls of the next world to celebrate the end of an era together!

It's official--tickets are now live for our finale event! Prepare yourselves for Dammerung: Ragnarok!

The Wheel of Years finally freezes to an icy halt at Helleborg, lone outpost of menn. Choose how you spend your last days in Midgar. Do you cling to the remnants of humanity? Will you shed this frozen mortal coil for the warmth of the eternal flame? Or will you seek a glorious end in the never-ending battle against the undead hordes of the Twilight Army? Whatever your fate, make it count, and share with us in the tales before the Last Fire.

We unfortunately need to push the date back one week--and we'll be in South Mountain from Dec 8-10. We aren't thrilled either, and thank you for sticking with us!

A fitting end...

Hello Damm Famm! It’s been quite some time hasn’t it?

Campsite procurement this year has been a bit of a nightmare, with rising costs and some very ill timed vacations taken by a very hardworking BSA staff. That said, we have managed to secure the date of our finale at the very least. It will be Dec. 1-3rd.

What does that mean? It means that we may be unable to do a two-part finish. Our staff is going to be having some rapid fire conversations about what that looks like, and do some thinking about what the finale could look like as a two-parter, or one big blowout of an ending, pulling out all the stops. That is to say, we are very much entering back into production, and what that means is that we also have something for you--specifically, pics from last Yule!

Just a few more days 'til our Yule event, and it promises to be an exciting one! Though the war of Menn and Jotunar rages on the outskirts of our caravan's travels, within our protective borders, we find respite and even cheer. Feasts and merriment are promised by some, though dark news trickles in each passing day. Many strive to celebrate even as they mourn, eking out what well-deserved joy they can during the winter festival.

Deep in our cups, whispers of old magicks and taboo practices creep through the ranks as we look to bolster what victories we've managed. Though we've beaten back much of the onslaught, the threat of the Frost Giant High King Skyrmr still looms beyond. Some may look to things forbidden and strange bedfellows to end his tyranny once and for all...

It's time to think about what you're bringing to make this feast a good one! We can all pretend like it doesn't taste good, or that this is truly the 'last good yule' now that everyone's made it to the big end of the world Fortress, so don't hesitate to bring out the good stuff- or good stuff that looks like bad stuff! Many of us like to treat Yule as a big pot luck, and we expect that this year won't be any different! We'll have our crock pot cooking areas of course, but there are also fires to cook on!

So, to all you survivors who made it this far- what do you plan on bringing to celebrate?
