Ever wonder why dolphins race over and glide right in front of the boat? They’re not just showing off (although they are pretty good at that!)

As our boat moves through the water, the hull pushes water forward and creates a wave of displaced water called a bow wave. Dolphins can ride this wave just like a surfer rides an ocean wave, allowing them to travel with less effort while having a whole lot of fun.

Scientists believe bow-riding helps dolphins conserve energy, enjoy social interaction, and satisfy their naturally playful personalities. It’s one of the many reasons seeing dolphins up close on a cruise is such a magical experience!

Jordan secretly teamed up with family and Captain MJ to turn a rainy day into the perfect surprise proposal for Vienna. What started as stormy skies quickly became a moment straight out of a fairytale… complete with a stunning ring, happy tears, and a promise of forever together. 💖

And just as Vienna said “YES!”… the clouds parted, revealing the most mermazing rainbow and glowing aura over the water, as if the heavens themselves were celebrating alongside us. 🌈✨ We truly couldn’t have scripted it any better.

We had SO many frisky dolphins and playful babies around us yesterday, we didn’t know where to look or which way to go! 🐬✨

So naturally… we turned up the T.S. 🎶💁‍♀️

Captain Ally always says the dolphins are Swifties… and after today, we officially believe her 😂 The second Taylor started playing, they came swimming right to US like it was the Eras Tour: Dolphin Edition 🪩🌊

Coincidence? We think not.

The Eagle has landed! ⚓🦅

The legendary USCGC Eagle has just docked at Naval Air Station Pensacola and will be moving to Palafox Pier where it will be open for public tours this weekend!

Known as “America’s Tall Ship,” Eagle is the largest tall ship flying the American flag and serves as a training vessel for future U.S. Coast Guard officers. Built in 1936, this 295-foot barque has crossed the Atlantic countless times and carries over 22,000 square feet of sail — an incredible sight to see in person.

Fun fact: Eagle’s towering masts reach nearly 150 feet high, and cadets actually climb the rigging while underway as part of their seamanship training. 🌊

If you’ve never toured a historic tall ship before, this is a rare chance to step aboard a living piece of maritime history right here in Pensacola. Definitely worth checking out this week!
