๐๐๐๐๐๐ @ 6:20๐ฉ๐ฆ: The Blue Angels buzzed Palafox, Navarre and Pensacola Beach before making their final turn over Johnson Beach and landingโฆ.
โ-------------------------------------
๐๐๐๐๐๐ @ 5:๐ฉ๐ฆ: Ernie just took off from Cherry Point, NC. Assuming the Blue Angels have leftโฆ it should happen around 6:15ish.
โ-------------------------------------
๐๐๐๐๐๐ @ ๐:18๐ฉ๐ฆ: We have it on good authority that the estimated time of arrival is 6:15ish. It is expected to be a Palafox and Beach Buzz.
โ-------------------------------------
๐๐๐๐๐๐ @ 4:00 pm: It doesn't appear that Ernie has taken off from Cherry Point, NC. It is about a 1:10-hour flight for the Blue Angels once theyโre airborne. This pushes our estimated arrival time back a little. We'll post another update as soon as Ernie takes off.
โ-------------------------------------
๐ข๐๐ ๐๐น๐๐ฒ๐ ๐๐น๐ฒ๐ฟ๐: Happy Mother's Day! The Blue Angels will be flying home today after their air show at Cherry Point, North Carolina. We expect to see them in our area between 4:30 and 5:30. We will update this post if we receive additional information.
Once the Blues are in the area, watch the comments on this post for updates on sighting locations.
As always, we never know their flight plan, whether they'll give us a Beach Buzz or, if they do, which beaches theyโll buzz. So far this year, they have made their final turn south of Turquoise Place, near Perdido Pass, and a little further west. Hopefully, theyโll continue this flight pattern on their return trips.
Thanks to everyone who's out watching for the Blue Angels from Navarre and Pensacola Beach for posting updates here in the comments when you see them coming. It really helps.
