The road to the SEC Championship leads to Pensacola! ⚽🏆

Get ready for a week of exciting college soccer as the SEC Women's Soccer Tournament returns to Pensacola, November 8–15! The conference's top 12 teams will go head-to-head at Ashton Brosnaham Soccer Complex, competing for the championship title and a chance to advance to the NCAA Tournament.

And the excitement doesn't stop on the field! Join us for FREE Fan Fest on Championship Sunday, November 15, starting at 11:30 a.m. Enjoy live music, food trucks, family-friendly activities, and plenty of SEC spirit before the championship match!

After a long week of storm cleanup, we think you've earned a little treat 🍽️🍹

Maybe it's a juicy steak, your favorite cocktail, a sweet treat, or a meal you didn't have to make yourself; now's the perfect time to show our local restaurants and bars some love!

Many of our local businesses have faced unexpected closures and challenges following Hurricane Isaias, and now is a great time to show up for the places that make our community special.

So put down the rake, take a break from the cleanup, and treat yourself while supporting local businesses. ❤️ Be sure to check directly with businesses to see if they are open.

Yesterday was truly a beautiful day in Pensacola.

Our team spent time surveying our beaches, and looking out at the beautiful white sand and emerald waters, it's hard to believe Mother Nature brought such a powerful storm to our shores just one week ago.

While there is still work to be done and recovery continues across our community, moments like these remind us of the beauty and resilience of the place we call home.

We're grateful for the progress made over the past week, the countless hands helping our community recover, and the brighter days ahead for Pensacola, Pensacola Beach, and Perdido Key.

The sun is shining over Pensacola today, and we're encouraged to see more attractions, restaurants, and local businesses reopening as our community continues to recover ☀️ Here are some important updates and positive progress to share!

🏖️ Perdido Key and Pensacola Beach public beach areas are open, including Perdido Key State Park and Johnson Beach, with limited-access closures at Park East and Panferio on Pensacola Beach. Visitors should use caution due to potential storm debris, follow beach flags and posted restrictions, and respect areas where cleanup and damage assessments are ongoing.

⚓ Areas of public interest at NAS Pensacola, including the National Naval Aviation Museum and the Pensacola Lighthouse and Maritime Museum, are OPEN.

🏛️ Historic Pensacola Village, the Pensacola Museum of History, the Pensacola Museum of Art, and the Pensacola Children's Museum are all OPEN and offering FREE admission! As you explore downtown Pensacola, please use caution and be mindful of lingering storm debris while cleanup efforts continue.

⚾ The Georgia Tech vs. Alabama baseball exhibition game is still on for Saturday, Oct. 17, at noon at Pensacola Blue Wahoos Stadium.

🏒 Pensacola Ice Flyers Opening Night is this Saturday at 7:05 p.m. at the Pensacola Bay Center.
