Arts and culture abound in Pensacola! 🎭 Enjoy year-round opportunities to experience and appreciate the beauty that exists outside of our beautiful white sand beaches.

Pensacola has a small-town, quaint feel, but when it comes to arts and entertainment, this little town has a big scene.

A little nature break will do wonders 🌳

The Discovery Trail located in the Johnson Beach Area of Gulf Islands National Seashore offers a short, immersive boardwalk through diverse barrier-island habitats, including salt marshes, wooded wetlands, and dune ecosystems.

It’s a fantastic place to slow down and connect with nature ✨

Road closures for tonight's Fiesta Parade 🚧

As a reminder, road closures will be in effect in Downtown Pensacola Friday, May 29 for the annual Grand Fiesta Parade.

The parade will begin at 7 p.m. and the float staging area along with the parade route will be closed to traffic approximately three hours before the start of the parade.

The Grand Fiesta Parade will follow the same modified downtown parade route as the Krewe of Lafitte Parade and the Grand Mardi Gras Parade which means the parade will start at North Palafox Street, cross Garden Street, and then travel down to South Jefferson Street to Main Street.

Residents and visitors are reminded to follow all posted signage and remember that parking is prohibited on the parade route.

Parking is also prohibited on the following streets:

➡️Main Street between Reus and Jefferson Street
➡️Reus Street between Main Street and Garden Street
➡️Garden Street between Reus and Jefferson Street
➡️Baylen Street between Main and Wright Street
➡️Portions of Tarragona and Chase Street north of Garden Street

Vehicles will be towed if found on the parade route or the additional “no parking” zones when the road closures start.

Street closures will also extend to Tarragona Street, DeVilliers Street, and Main Street.

As a reminder, drivers and pedestrians are asked to use caution in the area as heavy parade and float traffic is expected between Wright Street and Main Street, impacting Garden Street, Jefferson Street, Palafox Street and Spring Street.

For more information on road closures, please contact the Pensacola Police Department at 850-435-1845.

We are SO PROUD of Pensacola's culinary scene today as we have some major wins to announce! 🤩

🌟 A Mano Panino has been featured in the 2026 MICHELIN Guide with a Bib Gourmand! A Michelin Bib Gourmand is a prestigious award that recognizes restaurants offering high-quality food at an affordable or "moderate" price. We're excited that Michelin has expanded their selections to the entire state of Florida.

🌟 Lucky Dough Pizza was named #50 by 50 Top Pizza! The 50 Top Pizza award is an internationally recognized annual ranking of the best pizza establishments worldwide.

🌟 And finally, the Flora-Bama Lounge & Package was named the #2 Best Beach Bar in the United States by USA TODAY 10Best! 10Best highlights the “best of the best” in categories like destinations, beaches, restaurants, hotels, attractions, festivals, airports, small towns, and more.

These are all huge wins for the Pensacola Bay Area, and we couldn't be prouder. Our small corner of the world sure is special.
