Warsaw,[a] officially the Capital City of Warsaw,[7][b] is the capital and largest city of Poland. The metropolis stands on the River Vistula in east-central Poland. Its population is officially estimated at 1.86 million residents within a greater metropolitan area of 3.27 million residents, which makes Warsaw the 7th most-populous city in the European Union.[2] The city area measures 517 km2 (200 sq mi) and comprises 18 districts, while the metropolitan area covers 6,100 km2 (2,355 sq mi).[8] Warsaw is classified as an alpha global city,[9] a major cultural, political and economic hub, and the country's seat of government. The Museum of King John III's Palace at Wilanów[1] (Polish: Muzeum Pałacu Króla Jana III w Wilanowie) is a museum in Warsaw, Poland considered to be one of the oldest in the country and the repository of the country's royal and artistic heritage. The collection consists of valuables collected by subsequent owners of the Wilanów Palace, the Kings of Poland — John III Sobieski and Augustus II, as well as by representatives of noble families of Potocki, and Lubomirski and a collection of Sarmatian art.

(Polish: Kościół św. Anny) is a church in the historic center of Warsaw, Poland, adjacent to the Castle Square, at Krakowskie Przedmieście 68. It is one of Poland's most notable churches with a Neoclassical facade. The church ranks among Warsaw's oldest buildings. Over time, it has seen many reconstructions, resulting in its present-day appearance, unchanged since 1788. Currently it is the main church parish of the academic community in Warsaw.

كنيسة القديسة آن (بولندية: Kościół św. Anny) هي كنيسة تقع في المركز التاريخي لمدينة وارسو، بولندا، بجوار ساحة القلعة، في Krakowskie Przedmieście 68. وهي واحدة من أبرز الكنائس في بولندا وتتميز بواجهة كلاسيكية جديدة. تُعد الكنيسة من بين أقدم المباني في وارسو. مع مرور الوقت، شهدت العديد من عمليات إعادة البناء، مما أدى إلى مظهرها الحالي، دون تغيير منذ عام 1788. وهي حاليًا أبرشية الكنيسة الرئيسية للمجتمع الأكاديمي في وارسو.

The Warsaw National Museum (Polish: Muzeum Narodowe w Warszawie, MNW), also known as the National Museum in Warsaw, is a national museum in Warsaw, one of the largest museums in Poland and the largest in the capital. It comprises a rich collection of ancient art (Egyptian, Greek, Roman), counting about 11,000 pieces,[3] an extensive gallery of Polish painting since the 16th century and a collection of foreign painting (Italian, French, Flemish, Dutch, German and Russian) including some paintings from Adolf Hitler's private collection,[4] ceded to the museum by the American authorities in post-war Germany.[5] The museum is also home to numismatic collections, a gallery of applied arts and a department of oriental art, with the largest collection of Chinese art in Poland, comprising some 5,000 objects.

Warsaw Old Town,[a] also known as Old Town,[b] and historically known as Old Warsaw,[c][1] is a neighbourhood, and an area of the City Information System, in the city of Warsaw, Poland, located within the district of Śródmieście.[2] It is the oldest portion of the city, and contains numerous historic buildings, mostly from 17th and 18th centuries, such as the Royal Castle, city walls, St. John's Cathedral, and the Barbican.[1][3] The settlement itself dates back to between the 13th and 14th centuries, and was granted town privileges.

St John's Archcathedral (Polish: Archikatedra św. Jana w Warszawie) is a Catholic church within the Old Town precinct in Warsaw, Poland. The Brick Gothic structure stands on Świętojańska Street [pl], adjacent to the Jesuit Church. St John's is one of three major cathedrals in the city, but it is the only temple that also possesses the title of an archcathedral. It is the mother church of the Archdiocese of Warsaw and one of Poland's national pantheons. Along with the old city, the church has been listed by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site.

Józefa w Warszawie) commonly known as the Visitationist Church (Polish: Kościół Wizytek) is a Roman Catholic church in Warsaw, Poland, situated at Krakowskie Przedmieście 34. It is one of the most notable rococo churches in Poland's capital. This is the third church on the site to serve the monastic community for which it was built, the original church having been erected in 1651. Construction on this church was begun in 1728 and completed in 1765.

كنيسة القديس يوسف للزائرين (بالبولندية: Kościół Opieki św. Józefa w Warszawie) المعروفة باسم كنيسة الزائرين (بالبولندية: Kościół Wizytek) هي كنيسة كاثوليكية رومانية في وارسو ببولندا، وتقع في Krakowskie Przedmieście 34. وهي واحدة من من أبرز كنائس الروكوكو في عاصمة بولندا. هذه هي الكنيسة الثالثة في الموقع لخدمة المجتمع الرهباني الذي بنيت من أجله، حيث تم تشييد الكنيسة الأصلية عام 1651. بدأ بناء هذه الكنيسة عام 1728 واكتمل عام 1765.
