The Vagabond Tours program offers freedom from planning, driving and all the other hassles connected with traveling. Instead, you can just enjoy yourself and leave everything up to our Vagabond escorts! Choose from day trips to extended trips and everything in between--with a variety that goes from U.S. and International travel to gall games, shopping and theater trips, casino day trips and much m

ore. Vagabond Tour catalogs can be mailed to you (just ask to be put on our mailing list). Look for Vagabond ads in the travel section of Sunday issues of the Journal Star. Trips may be added between brochure publications, so be sure to stay connected! All of our tours are led by professional volunteer escorts. The success of our program is due to their dedication, commitment and long hours of service.

The newly managed Vagabond Tours is having an Open House this Thursday, May 6th from 2 - 5 pm at the Peoria Charter meeting Room at 2600 NE Adams Street in Peoria. The Vagabond Tour trip escorts will be there to greet you and share upcoming trip information. You may have received a postcard in the mail two weeks ago about this event. This is a friendly reminder that we hope to see you there.

Since Vagabond Tours is now being managed by Peoria Charter Travel, they have set up a NEW page. Please search for "Vagabond Tours" and "Like" the new page. The page title is all blue letters with the bird and waves blue circle logo. The subtitle is Travel Agency. We are hoping to attach a link to the new page soon, to make it easier to find. Once you "Like" the new page, you will get trip updates and see pictures from Vagabond trips that are out on tour.

Vagabond Tours is now being managed by Peoria Charter Travel. Vagabond is NOT with the park district anymore. And when it changed over last year in March 2020, the Vagabond MAILING LIST was NOT given to Peoria Charter Travel.
In order to receive future mailings from Vagabond Tours/Peoria Charter Travel, please email your name, home address and phone number to: [email protected]. You may also call Rose @309-688-9523 Ext 130. If you give your email address, you will also receive occasional trip updates via email.
Eventually, there will be a new Vagabond page managed by Peoria Charter Travel as well, and this page through the park district will be deleted.
We're looking forward to seeing all of our Vagabond customers once more as travel starts back up again.
If you would like to visit us soon, we are having a Vagabond Open House on Thursday, May 6th, from 2-5 pm at our new location at Peoria Charter Travel, 2600 NE Adams St, Peoria, Illinois.
