Talk about a literal blast from the past!💥

Between the rides and fair food, head to the Main Lake to meet Thor, a working replica of a 1780 cannon, and watch (and hear) history come to life as Georgia State Parks & Historic Sites presents cannon-firing demonstrations in Revolutionary War uniforms, giving fairgoers a glimpse into America’s fight for independence!

Firings will take place periodically on opening and closing days of the 2026 Georgia National Fair, with the first firing is scheduled to take place today between 4:30 and 5 PM!
