Thursday was a beautiful day in Rome. The group had the morning and afternoon to enjoy the Eternal City. We met up for Mass at Sant'Anna church just inside Vatican City. We then enja delicious dinner together. Now the group is on their way home. Thank you all for your prayers during our pilgrimage.

Yesterday we visited three Major Basilicas. St. Paul Outside the Walls, Saint Mary Major, the Holy Stairs and St. John Lateran where we celebrated Mass. I also visited St. Alphonsus during my free time. This is where the original Our Lady of Perpetual Help is located.

This morning we departed Florence and headed to Rome, but we first made a stop in Orvieto. We visited the beautiful Duomo that houses the Eucharist Miracle of Bolsena. After Mass in the Chapel we continued on to Rome to check in to our hotel.

Today our group drove to Nursia for Mass with the Benedictine Monks of Norcia in Monte. After Mass Fr. Cassian sent time with the group telling them about the Benedictine way and answering their questions. A b**r tasting followed along with a visit to the gift shop. We then enjoyed a wonderful lunch at Casale degli Amici Agriturismo. After lunch we stopped in town to see the progress of rebuilding after the 2016 earthquakes. There is still much to be done. We returned to Assisi for our last evening in Umbria.
