Pictured are Ace, Joey, and myself (Ryan - your humble northern Michigan hunting guide) post an afternoon hunt on Michigan’s Drummond Island in late October of 2023 with a clutch of American Woodcock and Ruffed Grouse. Joey really turned the corner on that trip 🐾🪶🐾🪶

Next weekend she will be completing the final two legs of her junior hunter title and the following will be testing for a certified pointing retriever title.

In September she will get her first exposure to wild birds and in a couple years this puppy will be greeting our grouse and waterfowl hunters.
