This is in Azusa Canyon, where we used to go prospecting. There was fires here a few months back, they closed the canyon til Dec 2025 after those fires.
Hopefully, they will keep the arsonists out and keep the area safe!!
Unfortunate for those that do enjoy spending time in the mountains though.

In response to our efforts in protecting the community and the San Gabriel Canyon, the Army National Guard has been deployed to close Hwy 39. You will notice National Guard personnel and vehicles in the city as they work alongside the Azusa Police Department to maintain the closure.

We had some wonderful times on the mountain, a lot of good and some bad people. A lot of hard work, fun, laughter and friendships too. Bernie was always kind and generous to us, he didn't have a great past, but he is missed. RIP
