Born in Bergamo Italy, 10 years ago I followed my husband Jeff Michaud back to the United States. Our love and passion for the food of Italy rewarded him with a successful culinary career, a Best Chef James Beard Award and his cook book "Eating Italy". Sicily, you have our hearts 🍋

We just wrapped up our very first La Via Gaia journey through this incredible island alongside Chef and our Sicilian experts — from the ancient salt pans of Marsala to the volcanic landscapes of Mount Etna.

Along the way, we explored Palermo’s vibrant markets, shared rustic meals with local shepherds, met Sicily’s legendary wine families, and connected deeply with the people and traditions that make this island so unforgettable.
This may have been our first Sicily journey, but it certainly won’t be our last. 🌋🍷
