Walking through it feels like stepping back in time and experiencing the Middle Ages firsthand! ✨

I’m often asked, “What is there to do on an island like Bonaire if you get tired of swimming and spending time at the beach?” 🌴☀️

Well, there’s actually so much more to experience! For example, I decided to visit a special place where donkeys live and are cared for. 🫏❤️

This isn’t just a zoo. The sanctuary was created to protect and care for Bonaire’s donkeys. Many years ago, donkeys lived wild on the island, but sadly, many were killed by cars or were used for food.

Thankfully, some kind-hearted people decided to help and created a safe place where these beautiful animals can live and be protected. You can get up close to them, feed them, and learn about their story.

So, Bonaire is not only about beautiful beaches, crystal-clear water, and diving! 🌊🐠
There are many unique experiences that let you discover a completely different side of the island.

And for me, this was definitely one of them! ❤️🫏

Welcome to Rimske Terme in Slovenia Terme, Slovenia — and wow… what a hidden gem!

This beautiful resort is tucked away in the mountains, surrounded by breathtaking scenery, fresh mountain air, and total peace. But what makes it truly special is its incredible history. The healing thermal waters here have been famous since Roman times, and over the centuries they welcomed distinguished guests, including Napoleon’s sister and members of European royalty and aristocracy. If it was good enough for them… I figured I should give it a try too! 😉

For me, this is the perfect combination: heal, relax, explore… and repeat! ❤️

Some of the best memories come from childhood. Sitting around a campfire, roasting potatoes in the coals, and cooking meat and bacon over an open flame. Such simple moments, yet they hold so much warmth and happiness.

It’s wonderful to know that these distant, almost forgotten memories can be brought back to life. Reliving the taste of childhood, the smell of the campfire, and remembering that true joy is often found in the simplest things. ❤️🔥

In one of the hotels in Kyoto, I had such a lovely surprise 🤍

Usually, in hotels you get coffee or tea, and maybe some cookies if you’re lucky.
But here it felt so much more thoughtful — guests are treated not only to coffee and tea, but also Japanese sake, w**e, and even b**r 🍶🍷🍺

And the cookies! Made from rice flour, not too sweet, light, and absolutely delicious ✨

It’s these little touches that make a stay truly special.
