🍁 It’s officially “Ber” month season 🍁

While I am still grieving the end of summer and trying to get my feet under me as a new school year starts, I cannot help but appreciate everything August brought me. My daughter, mother-in-law, and I spent the last few days of summer in NYC having the most musical-filled early birthday we could ❤️ Trips like these are why I do what I do and am so passionate about helping others do the same 🫶🏼

I took a lot of time off last month to be present and appreciate the end of summer with my family. Despite that, I still managed to help plan some very large trips for my amazing clients.

Happy National Play in the Sand Day! 🪣

Where was the softest, most powdery sand you've ever felt? Ours was most definitely in Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point on our most recent Disney Cruise!

Disney cruises have a culture of pixie dusting in fish-extenders, which is where fellow passengers leave little surprises outside stateroom doors. One of my kids' pixie dust gifts was this adorable little sand toy set. It became my son's favorite surprise of the cruise and was definitely put to use on that powder-soft Bahamian sand 🥰

🗽 One last summer getaway! 🎶

This special booking was made for US! To end the summer and celebrate our birthdays a little early, my daughter and I are headed back to NYC with Memaw for an extra-special girls' trip!

We will be staying at a new hotel, meeting up with family and friends, and catching as many Broadway shows as we can in our short stay. Top shows on the list: &Juliet, The Play That Goes Wrong, and Schmigadoon!

🌞 Summer break is drawing to a close 😢

While, as a teacher, I am sad to see the summer coming to an end, I am so very thankful for all the adventures we had! In July, we embarked on a 4-state road trip to the most incredible wedding of a family member. New experiences were had along the way, and it was wonderful to reconnect and meet up with family we don't see very often ❤ We experienced stops in Indiana, Kentucky, Tennessee, and Alabama, which I am happy to share at any time!

In addition to our family memories, I helped so many clients plan future family memories of their own! July was not only an exciting travel month for my clients but also a JAM-PACKED booking month for my business!

Wishing safe travels and a wonderful trip to this mother/daughter duo as they head to Ireland today!

They will be adventuring through Ireland on a guided tour with CIE Tours and ending with a few extra days in The Grafton Hotel Dublin to complete their must-do list around town. I hope they have the absolute best time adventuring together and making memories.

They will be spending a week at Impression Isla Mujeres by Secrets soaking in the absolute beauty that is this adults-only resort! Later today, they will set sail on an exclusive catamaran with full bar and butler service to arrive at their piece of paradise.

Summer Road Trip Highlight #2: Lost River Cave

We decided to continue our trend of natural wonders with a unique cave tour for our kids’ Kentucky experience.

Lost River Cave is in Bowling Green, Kentucky and unlike other caves we have visited, is located right in the middle of everything.

What made me choose this as our destination was the fact that the tour is aboard a boat through and underground river. Not only that, but you have to literally duck down to avoid the rock formations overhead!

They have trails you can explore for free, a butterfly habitat, an amazing nature-centered play area, a food truck on site, gem mining, and a geocache close by 😉

There is local folklore that Jesse James kidnapped a local doctor and hid out here, it was once a speakeasy, and has ties to the Civil War. They also hold weddings in the cave, which genuinely made us consider having a vow renewal here! 😍

Our tour guides were absolutely hilarious and made the adventure even more memorable ❤️ I would go back here in a heartbeat if we end up back in the area! It’s absolutely worth the stop!
