Ted Lasso fans… you need to see this. 👀⚽️

AFC Richmond may be fictional, but Richmond, London is very real, and you can visit! 🇬🇧

We did a day trip during our last London visit, and it ended up being such a fun addition. You get the Ted Lasso experience, but you also get a beautiful little escape from the craziness of central London. 🌳

And honestly, you don’t have to be a fan of the show to have a great day here...

If you’re into Ted Lasso , you’ll immediately recognize the iconic places from the show. 📺

The Ted Lasso store, pub, Ted’s street, Ted’s bench, and Richmond Green are all musts and conveniently located within a short walk of each other. 🍻

London can be A LOT with kids. There’s so much to see, so much walking, and so many people, and we happened to be there during a heat wave. 😅

Richmond gave us a day to slow down a little. After the Ted Lasso sights, we grab lunch, wandered along the river, let the kids run around, and took in this typical London suburb.

It’s a lovely change of pace and addition to your trip even if you’ve never seen the show.

Plan to spend the day... about 10am-4pm... because you won’t want to miss Richmond Park. 🦌

Richmond Park is massive and beautiful. It overlooks the river, has hundreds of deer roaming around, trails, playgrounds, and historical areas that are now nationally protected.

If you’re looking for London experiences that if literally off the beaten path, this is it. 🌳
