Meet Olivia Lane, Togwotee Mountain Lodge’s trailblazing Backcountry Snowmobile Guide and the driving force behind several key advancements in our guest experience and guide program.
Olivia joined Togwotee in 2020 as a server, but her passion for the outdoors quickly steered her toward a new path. By 2022, she had become a guide, leading guests deep into the backcountry.
Today, Olivia guides riders of all experience levels—from first time snowmobilers to seasoned backcountry enthusiasts. Her ability to tailor each day’s approach to the unique needs of every group ensures guests feel supported, capable, and empowered. Her commitment to growth is evident in her ongoing continuing education, constantly expanding her expertise to elevate each guest’s experience.
In 2024, Olivia developed and launched what is now Togwotee’s Women’s Ride Clinic. Designed with intention and purpose, the program creates a welcoming, judgment free space for women to learn a new hobby and build confidence. Its broader mission: to increase women’s participation in a sport historically dominated by men. Thanks to Olivia’s leadership, the clinic has become a meaningful avenue for accessibility, community, and empowerment.
Her qualifications further reinforce her dedication. She is Pro 1 Avalanche Certified, serves on Togwotee’s Search and Rescue Team, and brings steady positivity and professionalism to every ride.
Olivia’s impact extends far beyond the trail. She is helping shape the future of the sport—one rider at a time.
