Rangers are the reason the wildlife you come to see still exists. They work in remote conditions, often in genuine danger, for salaries that rarely reflect the weight of what they carry.

Outbound in Africa works exclusively with lodges and concessions that prioritise ranger welfare: proper training, fair pay and genuine career progression. When we choose a lodge, the quality of its guiding team is the non-negotiable.
