February in the Smoky Mountains may be quieter, but there’s still plenty going on ❄️⛰️

From Winterfest lights and Valentine vibes to races, festivals, cheer competitions, and Pancake Week — there are events happening all month across Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, and Sevierville. On top of that, several restaurants, attractions, and shops are offering winter specials, which makes February a great time to visit if you like fewer crowds and better deals.

Just keep in mind that some attractions do take seasonal breaks this time of year, so it’s always a good idea to double-check hours and closures before you go. And as always in the Smokies, keep an eye on the weather — winter conditions can change quickly, especially at higher elevations.
