Each trip to Cades Cove in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park is a unique adventure. You never know what you're going to see. We were lucky to see this majestic buck, just hanging out near the rest rooms. This video is extremely zoomed in; nobody got close to him. Later, however, our family was exploring the area when someone brought a tiny dog out. Though the dog didn't seem to care about the deer at all, the buck got spooked and charged towards us trying to escape the tiny dog. He veered off before reaching us, but he gave us quite a scare!
