🌾Red River Gorge Famer's Market at Natural Bridge State Resort Park. Look for the Skylift Parking Lot. Every Saturday from 10am to 2pm, weather permitting.

👣Red River Gorge Bigfoot Festival at Stanton City Park is happening on Saturday, May 30th. A FREE event for all ages that everyone will love!

📽️FREE Drive In Movies Under The Stars at The Drive In Diner. Next up on the movie lineup is Jaws! Watch it on Saturday, June 13th.

💃Hoedown Island is back every Saturday at Natural Bridge State Resort Park. Hoedown Island is a family-friendly Appalachian tradition that has been entertaining generations with line dancing, clogging, hokey pokey, waltzes and more. Keep the tradition alive and make memories under the stars.

🥁Live music at The Pit House on Saturday, June 20th & 27th in Slade.

🏁Supercharged Saturday at Kentucky Dragway in Clay City on June 6th.

🐢Turtle Farm Anniversary Block Party is taking place on Sunday, June 7th. There will be a cake decorating contest, music and a hooting, hollering good time! More info to come!

For Mother’s Day today, we spent some time exploring Natural Bridge State Park. The bluebells are blooming, the creeks are running clear, and the woods are fully alive with spring.

Tucked away in a quiet corner of the park are several old graves belonging to small children. On a day meant to celebrate mothers, it is hard not to think about the women who once stood in these same woods carrying both love and loss.

A quiet, beautiful reminder of how deeply connected this land is to the lives that came before us. We hope everyone had a wonderful Mother’s Day today. 🌿💜

Looking for something beyond the usual cabin stay?

Private Bigfoot bonfires (at your cabin), guided Bigfoot hunts, and multimedia Bigfoot presentations are available through the Bigfoot Bungalow. These experiences are hosted by Charlie Raymond, founder of the Kentucky Bigfoot Research Organization (KBRO), and feature firsthand witness accounts, evidence discussion, expedition stories, and multimedia presentations from years of Kentucky field research and investigations.

Priority booking is given to Bigfoot Bungalow guests, though spots are limited and not guaranteed with a reservation. All experiences must be booked in advance.

A little piece of spring magic is hiding at the Bigfoot Bungalow… and this time it’s not Bigfoot 👣💛🐦

These sweet baby robins tucked safely above the porch are just days away from fledging and leaving the nest. Right now, you can sip your morning coffee, listen to the forest wake up around you, and watch one of nature’s quiet little moments unfold right from the porch.
