Such an amazing sight today. We found a bat on the ground with her little hairless pup and were able to get them successfully up into the tree. They took off at dusk.

Did you know a single bat can eat upwards of 5,000-6000 bugs in one night? Bats are the only flying mammal and feed their single pup milk from a ni**le under the mama’s wing. There is also a pouch under the mama’s tail for carrying her young. 🦇

Beautiful thistle with several kinds of bees and a beautiful yellow flowering bush that is very aromatic. Anyone know what that is?
