No golf tomorrow!

Due to inclement weather Village Hall, Welcome Center, Cannon Park Community Center, Fair Barn and the Given Memorial Library and Tufts Archives will be closed beginning Wednesday, February 19 at Noon. All parks and recreation and library programing are canceled during the closure.

Storm Preparation/Operations: The Village of Pinehurst Public Services Department is fully prepared with deicing agents and plow crews. Village roads have been treated with deicing agents. Snowplows will be deployed if necessary. If possible, please avoid travel during the storm to allow crews to work efficiently. If travel is necessary, exercise caution and reduce your speed, as icy conditions are expected.

One-and Done Curbside Pickup: Curbside solid waste and recycling services are canceled for Wednesday, February 19. Public services will shift curbside services by one day for the remainder of the week.

Forecast: The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for Moore County starting at 7 a.m. on Wednesday, February 19 until 10 a.m. on Thursday, February 20. For further updates, visit the National Weather Service Raleigh Office website. www.weather.gov/rah

So excited to be hosting a family this week with a kid in this tournament!

We're really enjoying the Farmer's Market on Wednesdays and Saturdays. It's a 2.5 mile roundtrip into town. Definitely walkable. We just picked up some fresh scallops there, then sauteed them with butter and garlic and ate them over Angel Hair pasta! Wow!
