I began working as a travel advisor over 20 years ago after I completed a one-year Travel Program at a university in Raleigh. Following that, I began my travel career as an outside agent for one of Raleigh's largest Travel Agencies. I moved on to purchase a cruise franchise from Cruise Planners, and I found the perfect career for me.
Unfortunately, after September 11, the travel industry took a hard hit. With a heavy heart, I was forced to close my agency and moved into Retail Sales Management for many years, which I also enjoyed. I have always heard that everything comes full circle and purchased a Cruise Planners franchise again. Now I am back doing what I love, helping people take the trips they always wanted while celebrating every moment life gives you.
Traveling is a journey of discovery as you meet new people and experience new places returning with a new perspective. You only get that experience from traveling. So what is my passion besides traveling? I care. There is so much we can do every day for others to brighten their days. I love to help my clients discover their next adventure.
