Tickets are now on sale for Universal Kids Resort. Scheduled to open July 1 in Frisco, Texas, this park will have seven lands catered to kids and a resort hotel connected to the park with exclusive benefits like one-hour early entry.

Here are some options:
• 1½-Day General Admission: Enjoy more park time without the rush—for one great price, experience the park from 2 PM to close on day one, then from open to close the following day.
• 2-Day General Admission: Enjoy two full days of kid-friendly rides, live shows, and interactive attractions.
• 1-Day General Admission: Experience the classic park offering with one fun-filled day of adventure and play.

I priced a two-day package for two adults and two kids including a night at the hotel and two park days for $725.76 over Labor Day (check in Sunday, Sept. 6 and check out the next day).

It’s no secret that Disneyland is my favorite Disney park. If you have wanted to stay in a hotel on property there, a deal just dropped.

We had the best time participating in the inaugural Run Dollywood race weekend. Set a PR in the half marathon that included an opportunity to ride some coasters and eat cinnamon bread.
